Our mission at Sago Palm Educational Academy is to develop and implement a comprehensive program which will stimulate the maximum potential in each student to become a well-rounded, responsible person endowed with self-respect, dignity and purpose ready to engage in an effective and successful life in our multicultural society.

About Sago Palm Academy

Sago Palm Educational was started to provide a moral based education to students with varying backgrounds, needs and goals. The Academy helps parents develop the character of their child by nurturing and teaching respect and responsibility.

Sago Palm Academy enrolls students throughout the year in grades 1 through twelve. Classes are held in small working groups with individualized instruction. This is the perfect setting for students with varying learning needs.

The Academy's calendar school year is 180 days, 7 hours per day. Summer School, before and after school programs and tutoring are also available.

Accreditation

Sago Palm Educational Academy is a member of the Coalition of McKay Scholarship Schools. All transcripts and grades are widely accepted by area public and private schools.

 

Our History

In 1998, there was a parent whose own child was not succeeding in school. Concerned about a lack of educational choices, this parent founded Sago Palm Educational Academy. She wanted her child to be successful in school and in life; eventually leading her to college. Knowing her child wasn't as intelligent as other children, she recognized the need for a specialized program for students with reading and learning difficulties. Since the Sago Palm Educational Academy's intensive and supportive program has focused on the needs of elementary, middle and high school students who have not succeeded in traditional settings.

The school was designed for limited enrollment, with a student/teacher ratio of no more than six to one. The small class size ensures the availability of the teacher's personal attention without sacrificing the sharing of ideas in the classroom.

Sago Palm Educational Academy has created a learning environment which students look forward to going to class, get more one on one guidance, achieve higher grades and interact with other students.
